The Team - Fred Ruess
Fred has climbed 37 of
Colorado’s 14ers as well as numerous lower peaks around the state.
He has summitted Mt Rainier
twice including one trip he co-led with teammate Vern Bass.
He was a member of the 2006
Colorado 3D Denali Expedition with current teammates Vern and Todd but had to
give up that attempt due to an illness
During the work week Fred is a
credit officer with KeyBank.
He, his wife, Joan, and their
nearly 5 year old twins, Peter and Nicole, reside in Golden, CO.
He is a member of the Colorado
Mountain Club and the American Alpine Club.
