Day 0 - Fri, June 19th -
Arrive in Talkeetna, Alaska. Meet with the National Park Service.
Fly onto the Kahiltna Glacier (7,200 ft.).
Day 1 - Sat, June 20th - Get
up at 2:00 am and move camp from 7,200 ft to 7,800 ft (5.5 miles).
Day 2 - Sun, June 21st -
Carry food and fuel to 11,000 ft. and leaving a "Base Camp" cache at 9,500 ft
(in case planes cannot land at 7,200 ft at the end of our trip).
Day 3 - Mon, June 22nd -
Move from 7,800 ft to 11,000 ft camp (4 miles / 3,200 ft elevation gain).
Day 4 - Tue, June 23rd -
Carry food and fuel to 13,200 ft.
Day 5 - Wed, June 24th - It
snowed at least 3 feet last night, so we took a rest / weather day at 11,000 ft.
Day 6 - Thu, June 25th -
Moved camp from 11,000 ft to 14,200 ft (2.75 miles / 3,200 ft elevation gain).
Day 7 - Fri, June 26th -
Retrieve food & fuel cache at 13,200 ft.
Day 8 - Sat, June 27th -
Carry food and fuel to 17,200 ft.
Day 9 - Sun, June 28th -
Rest day at 14,200 ft.
Day 10 - Mon, June 29th -
Move from 14,200 ft to 17,200 ft camp (1.75 miles / 3,000 ft elevation gain).
Day 11 - Tue, June 30th -
Rest day at 17,200 ft.
Day 12 - Wed, July 1st -
Summit Day!
Day 13 - Thu, July 2nd -
Descend from 17,200 ft to 11,000 ft camp.
Day 14 - Fri, July 3rd -
Descend from 11,000 ft to 7,200 Base Camp and fly off the glacier.
